- It's good you sent a message to them. It may give us some hope that DOOM
- by large is an "old-fashioned thing" in PC-world now. People go crazy
- about things like Descent, Quake (are those the same game..?), Pentium-
- only games for Win 95. Id might not take a DOOM-clone so seriously
- anymore, if we're lucky. But then again, they _should_ take it seriously
- enough to answer us...

- I think, the tone of the message is critical. If Id thinks our Bad Mood
- will only give "them" good reputation, and perhaps get their Quake more
- buyers, they probably won't object this project. They will hardly see us
- as a commercial threat; we just have to make certain they don't see us as
- annoying nobodies they just want to get out of their sight as fast as
- possible...
